Responsible Gaming

Clarims is an entertainment platform, and gaming should always stay fun, social and within your means. This page explains the rules that protect you, the warning signs to watch for, and exactly how to get help or take a break whenever you need one.

Adults only — strictly 18+

Clarims is strictly for players aged 18 or older. If you are under 18, you must not register, deposit or play on this site, and any account found to belong to a person under 18 will be closed.

If you share a phone or computer with children, keep your login details private, sign out when you finish playing, and never leave your account open and unattended.

Play within your means

  • Decide your budget before you deposit, and only play with money you can afford to lose — never with money needed for rent, bills, food or family expenses.
  • Treat gaming as paid entertainment, not as a way to earn income or to win back earlier losses.
  • Check the amount carefully before you confirm any deposit or bet.
  • Your complete deposit, withdrawal and betting history is always available in your account under Records, so you can review your spending at any time.

Know the warning signs

Gaming may be becoming a problem if you notice that you are:

  • Spending more money, or more time, than you planned
  • Trying to win back losses by playing more
  • Borrowing money, or selling belongings, in order to keep playing
  • Hiding your gaming from family or friends
  • Letting gaming affect your work, studies, sleep or mood
  • Feeling unable to stop, even when you want to

If several of these sound familiar, it is time to take a break and talk to someone — see the section below.

Stay in control

  • Set a time limit for each session before you start, and take regular breaks.
  • Never chase losses. A loss is the cost of entertainment, not a debt that has to be recovered.
  • Do not play when you are tired, stressed, upset, or under the influence of alcohol.
  • Keep gaming balanced with work, family and your other activities.
  • Keep your account secure: use one account only, and never share your password or withdrawal PIN with anyone.

Taking a break, or closing your account

Clarims does not currently offer an automatic self-exclusion tool inside your account settings, and we will not pretend otherwise. If you feel you need a break — for a while, or for good — contact our Customer Service team and ask them to restrict or close your account. The team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will treat your request seriously and in confidence.

Independent help

Free and confidential support is also available from independent organisations such as Gamblers Anonymous and BeGambleAware, whatever your situation. Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.
